Abdita Air Plant
Turns red naturally and blooms a purple flower. With this listing you get a single Abdita air plant. A bright indirect light will help the color change be bright and vibrant. However, ultimately mother nature controls the bloom and color process but a bright indirect light will help to speed it up. In a shady spot the color change will not be as vibrant and the blooms will take longer to appear.
Give this plant a good saturation once a week by submerging the entire plant under water for 1-2 mins. Turn upside down and shake off the excess water and let dry. If base of plant feels hollow it needs more water if base of plant feels hard and sturdy it is healthy. Brown tips are also a good indicator that you need to add a weekly misting to your watering cycle. Homes where the heat is create a drier air that may have your plant demanding more water.
